The Kenya Aid team would like to say a big thanks to Peter and Virginia from Nepean hospital who hosted a trivia night at the Springwood bowls club in February.
The night was a great success and over $3,000 was raised – providing the final dollars needed to buy Kakamega’s first ever ambulance!
We would like to thank everyone who attended – over 100 Blue Mountains locals – and to everyone who so generously donated on the night. Also, we’d like to specifically thank Active Automotive in Springwood for providing a $500 donation to help us buy our ambulance… and some fuel to run it!
If you would like to run your own trivia night to support Kenya Aid please drop us a line. These events are fun, can be easily organised at your local pub with a few friends, and provide us with much needed donations that can be directed to the program of your choice.
