Sustainability and affordability is an important aspect of all of Kenya Aid’s programs. To ensure our programs remain running well into the future, we have developed a small-scale agriculture program that runs on the excess land located at the hospital.

Our agriculture program has three major benefits; it provides employment to a number of local people, it provides continued income for the hospital that serves to reduce our overheads, and it provides an additional supply of maize and millet – two popular staple foods – that can be sold at local markets.
