Kenya Aid was again pleased to present at the 10th Holdsworth House Medical HI 15 GP MP in Adelaide this May. The conference addressed new advances in the fields of HIV and sexual health.
Dr Ryan Snaith prepared an overview of HIV awareness in rural Kenya, using results gained from a survey conducted in Shikunga in 2014. These results demonstrated a number of areas in which HIV education needs to be improved among young people in regards to HIV transmission and treatment. The results will be used to develop education programs implemented by the Kenya Aid supported school.
